Welcome to Great Alaska Fishing.   We are a fishing guide service that services customers on the Gulkana, and Klutina Rivers of South Central Alaska fishing predominently for Kings, Sockeye, Rainbows and Grayling.  We are in the heart of the Copper River Valley.   We are located at the confluence of the Gakona and Copper Rivers.

For those interested in fishing...this is true Alaska fishing... You will not be competing for a spot on the river!   And... the fishing is fantastic!  Our guides will work hard to insure your success.

What We Do

   We provide the necessary equipment, tackle and great guides to insure your success in sport fishing some of Alaska's most prestine waters.  We transport you by either raft or jet boat.

   We offer lodging at one of Alaska's most historic and unique lodges... the food at the Carriage House Restaurant is wonderful and you'll get a chance to meet all of the local folks at the Trapper's Den Tavern  We are anxious to get to know you and establishing a new friendship.  Historic Gakona Lodge and Trading Post.
