We are a family owned business at the Historic Gakona Lodge and Trading Post.  We are located adjacent Wrangell-St Elias National Park in the heart of Alaska.   We are at the confluence of the Gakona and Copper Rivers adjacent the Gulkana and Klutina Rivers.

Our mission is to provide a wholesome atmosphere for travelers to Alaska.

Our Business

Gakona Lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places and is in the Heart of outstanding fishing.   We are a Historic Lodge, open to all travelers.  We provide a Fishing Charter Business located in the Copper River Valley of Alaska.   Everyone is welcome!   For those not interested in fishing we do offer rafting trips and boat rides on the Copper River or you are welcome to hike or just relax.
